Prior to being a life coach, Malay earned a master’s in computer applications and a post-graduate diploma in Sales and Marketing Management and went on to work for 25 years in the Information and technology industry utilizing strong coaching skills to build, manage and lead highly productive teams.
His professional career spurred his strong passion to work as a life and mental strength coach, focusing on life transitions and personal growth. As a former senior manager, he possesses specialized skills to coach and interacts with millennials, however, his expertise is not limited to the demographic, as his work across the globe with several multinational organizations such as Veritas, Infosys, Intuit, IBM, and PwC has allowed him to work with peoples of all ages and diverse backgrounds.
Malay’s coaching style focuses on inquisitive questions and intense discussions, in a 1-1 setting or a group session. This allows him to delve into the psyche of his client and help them understand their goals and aspirations and further supporting them to create a workable plan to reach said goals. His light-hearted conversational style and humorous demeanor, coupled with his ability to have sensitive conversations, creates a safe and healthy environment that allows for openness and vulnerability. This is testified by the over 25 clients, totaling over 600 hours, he has coached in the last 2.5 years.
